I know this isn’t part of my
story in Russia, but its part of my story, and I would argue its part of yours
too. It is about God though, so your choice whether to read it.
You know the feeling you get when
you walk into a completely quiet room? You don’t even dare to whisper, barely
breathing, carefully treading on the floor. Or when you wake up in the middle
of the night and need the toilet, but your scared of waking everyone up by
flushing it. When its quiet, we’re scared of making noise.
Now imagine
a room, but without walls, without and floor, without a roof, without light.
And uneasy breeze, rocking motion. It’s an unproductive chaos, not destroying
anything, not making anything. In other words, it useless. But wait, there One
in this room. It’s God. And the room is completely silent. He alone, and he has
always been there. What will our God do? Will he stay shy and not do something
with this darkness?
And
I don’t mean by flushing the toilet in order to wake everyone up. Speak up. In
other places in life. And thankfully for us, we have got someone to give us
this courage. God does. And believe me, he is making masterpiece out of us too.
Small people, with small responsibilities, and yet we messed that up. Yet he is
working through us. Changing us.
The reason that we change and God
never changes is because we are created, and he is the Creator. He changes us,
but He never changes because he was the one who brings love in the first place-
in other words, he is perfect.
He will bring change into the silence.
And he wants to bring it through you. And wake people up. 😊
Oh, and one more thing. When God
spoke into the darkness, did the darkness say "I dont want to" ?. No,
it obeyed. So if we are are on God's side, we have got noting to be afraid
of.
